About Tara West

Tara West is the Founder of Aussie Résumés and has been assisting job seekers since 1992.

She holds a Diploma of Freelance Journalism and is a Certified Professional Coach.

Tara and her team are passionate about helping people achieve their career dreams and goals.

In February 1992, at the age of 21, Tara established a business that specialised in resume and job applications, as well as PR and marketing services. She helped others in achieving their dreams and goals and worked one-on-one with individuals, business leaders and executives.

In 2001, Aussie Resumes was registered to reflect the business's core focus on resumes and everything associated with it for the job seeker, with the name formally incorporated as a company in 2004. 

Tara's philosophy is: "We spend so much of our waking hours at work that it is imperative to our wellbeing to be passionate and happy about what we do. When you feel this way you never have to 'work' a day in your life."

• Founder of Silver Service Plus; a national mystery shopper organisation, providing customer service evaluations, analysis and reports predominantly to the hospitality industry.  1997 until its sale in 2004.
   
• Author: 'That Was Yesterday' and 'Life's Journey'. Photographic Poetry eBooks
   
• Former Editor of SA Liberator newsletter.
   
• Poetry and photography published in numerous online publications.
   

Some personal information:
