We utilise 128 bit security to process all order details. We do not store credit card details nor do we see your credit card details. These are processed securely via our bank.

Are my details kept private?  Are they disclosed to third parties?

We have stringent privacy policies in place.  We respect your privacy and, as such, your particulars will never be disclosed to a third party.  For more information please view our Privacy Policy.

I want to order by mail.  Can I do that?

Yes you can.  We accept orders by snail mail - please download the appropriate order form for the service you are after.  Payment can be made by credit card, bank cheque or money order (sorry, no personal cheques).

Why don't you have sample resumes on your site that you have written?

For a number of reasons.  Experience has shown us that no matter what we put on the site it's not what you want to see.  i.e. we display an IT resume and you want to see a management resume, and so on.  

Here are some facts (please read them all!):

1) We provide numerous styles and formats - you get to choose which style you like best.  There are just too many variations to put on the site. A sample indicates what you will receive, when in fact it is not the case at all! All resumes are individualised.  

2) We write resumes for numerous professions.  Which one should we display? It simply isn't possible to display a resume for each profession.

3) Sadly, there have been people who have plagiarised information - we're making it harder for these people.

4) We cannot display a client's resume - everything we do here at Aussie Résumés is highly confidential.

5) We believe this website is a testament to our writing abilities.  Additionally, the many testimonials you see on this site proves our track record of success.

6) If requested, we will provide you with a 'genuine referee' who can vouch for our work.  A previous client who is quite happy for you to telephone them about our quality of workmanship.  And we'll try to put you in contact with someone in the same industry.

How soon do I get my completed resume?

If you choose our standard turnaround time you will receive a draft within 5-7 working days from receipt of your initial information.

If you choose our express service you will receive a draft within 24-48 hours (working days only), from receipt of your initial information.

I don't know what pricing category I fall under for graduate / non-management / management pricing. Please clarify.

Graduate: You qualify for this discounted pricing structure if you left school or university in the last year (or are still studying), and you have held only one or two basic jobs which generally don't relate to your profession.  For instance, you may be a graduate accountant who has worked as a waitress.  If you have industry experience then you do not qualify for this discounted pricing structure simply because more time is spent on your resume, thus the higher fee is charged for non-management.  So for instance, if you are a graduate accountant but you have work experience as an Admin Officer or Accounts Payable Officer, then you would be classified under our non-management pricing structure.

Non-management: If you hold a managerial position you fall within our management fee structure (ordinarily irrespective of your profession - i.e. Office Manager falls within the management fee structure).  Generally, if one holds a team leadership role you qualify for the non-management fee.  Highly specialised roles may fall within the management fee structure even if you do not hold management responsibility due to the additional time spent on the resume. 

Management: If you hold a managerial role this fee applies to you. If you hold a management position but you are applying for non-management roles you would be charged at the non-management fee.

Pricing is left to the sole discretion of Aussie Résumés.  If you have chosen the wrong pricing structure you will be advised by email before we proceed further with your project.

Will my resume be compatible with what employers want?

Yes, it will.  We provide you with two different formats - Word and PDF.  However, most employers will request a copy in Word format.

Do I get a hard copy of my resume?

No.  It's simply a matter of printing a copy from your machine when you need it.  Most employers request applications to be emailed.  But on the occasion when you do need to post a copy you can print at your own convenience; using whatever paper you please.

When do I have to pay for it?

We take a non-refundable deposit on order, with the balance debited on completion of your draft, and before that draft is emailed to you.

Q: I've lost my serial number (registration code).  What do I do?
A: Please complete our Support Form and we will provide it to you.  Click on Contact within the software to access the Support Form. If this isn't possible please email, providing your full name, approximate date you purchased the software, and email address you used when ordering.

Q: I purchased the software because I was seeking a position in the Australia/NZ/Asia Pacific region.  I'm now looking for a job overseas.  Will your advice still apply to those job markets?
A: If applying for a position within the US or UK your résumé will need to conform to their requirements. Given you have already put together your résumé it will be a matter of re-formatting for those particular markets.  Aussie Résumés can provide you with advice through our Q&A Service. Q: I really like some of the information that you have provided in the Attributes section of Template 1.  Am I allowed to use this information?
A: All information contained within the Templates is copyrighted to Aussie Résumés.  We allow you non-exclusive rights to use the information provided in the Templates, however, we must caution against using the information supplied.  Not only may it be used by another person who might be going for the same job as you, but it more than likely can be re-worked and improved upon to more truly reflect you and your personality.

Q: I want to install the software on my son's computer as he wants to use it. Can I do this?
A: No, it is illegal to do so.  Furthermore, the software is encrypted and tracked with your own unique registration code.  It only allows installation and use on one single PC and will not work on another computer.  Your son will need to purchase his own individual license.

Q: We want to use the software in our business to help job seekers in writing their résumé. Can we do this?
A: Not with the Registered Version License Grant for Single Copy Use.  This version is encrypted and tracked and does not allow installation over a network or over-excessive use.  Furthermore, the single copy license for individual use is solely for private job seekers who wish to use the software to write and compile their own résumé.  We provide a license for companies who wish to use the software in assisting their clients.  This includes recruitment firms, job network providers, etc.  Please contact Aussie Résumés for more information.

Q: I'm a teacher in a school and would love to use the software for my students? Can I do this?
A: Not with the Registered Version License Grant for Single Copy Use.  This version is encrypted and tracked and does not allow installation over a network or over-excessive use.  Furthermore, the single copy license for individual use is solely for private job seekers who wish to use the software to write and compile their own résumé.  We provide a license for the education sector who wish to use the software for either assisting their students or providing the software available for student use.  This includes secondary schools, universities, etc.  Please contact Aussie Résumés for more information.

Q: I'm a résumé writer who wants to use your software. Can I do this?
